🌈 Prepare for an unforgettable day filled with love, laughter, and PRIDE! PFLAG Southern Maryland will provide 🌭food, 🥤drinks, and 🎵music; just bring yourself, your friends and families! The Pride Picnic is an inclusive event welcoming people of all ages, backgrounds, and identities.
🌳 There will be a variety of activities for families to enjoy at Gilbert Run Park & Lake Wheatley, including 🛝a large playground, 🏐sanded volleyball court, 🥾wooded hiking trails for all levels (🧒kid & 🐕dog friendly), or various piers for 🎣fishing (fishing license required for ages 16+), and boat ramps for 🚣row boats, pedal boating, 🛶canoeing, and kayaking (bring your own or rentals available).
🚗 While the event is free, there is a $5 per vehicle entry fee paid to Charles County Recreation & Parks. Your contribution supports the maintenance and improvement of the park facilities.
