Join us for a 3-day clinic in Charlestown, Indiana, full of building confidence, increasing your horsemanship skills, and refining your trailer loading ability!
Day One:
In the morning we will deep dive into topics such as: Why did you sign up for this clinic? What gives you confidence? What are you hoping to achieve? Why do you lack confidence?
In the afternoon session, we will cover basic groundwork that we will use the entire weekend. Through groundwork, we will build confidence and trust in our horse, as well as encouraging your horse to trust you!
Day Two:
After a brief warm-up on the ground, we will mount up and cover basic skills under saddle such as backing, yielding hindquarters and shoulders, maintaining rhythm and creating a feel.
In the afternoon, we will work on continuing to build that confidence by riding patterns and playing games on horseback.
Day Three:
We will warm up, then start our trailer loading. While we may not get the horse on the trailer with the first try, we will talk building blocks for success. We will spend all the time it takes to make your horse successful.
We will close the clinic with a few warm-up patterns and games, and then tackle an obstacle course. Participants can either do this on the ground or in the saddle (both if time allows).
