The Back to School Bash + SchoolFest will be held at Charleston Middle School, 1012 S. Main Street, on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at 11am to 6pm.
This two-in-one event is for Charleston R-I Schools (PreK-12th) and St. Henry School (PreK-8th) families.
At the Back to School Bash, parents can register their Charleston R-I PreK-12th grade students and receive teacher assignments and/or schedules. School staff will be available to help all parents through the online registration process and answer any questions. For those who cannot attend, they may use the online registration portal (more info will follow).
New to Charleston R-I? Bring the student's birth certificate, parents' driver's license, shot record, and proof of residency. Once received, the enrollment process can begin.
Vaccinations will be provided by Miss. Co. Health Department for ALL 7-12th grade students in need of school-required boosters (bring proof of insurance).
SchoolFest will feature local resource booths, receive FREE promotional items and food (hot dogs, chips, and drinks), and register for gift card drawings and other prizes!
The best part of all? The SchoolFest organizers have donated ALL of Charleston R-I and St. Henry school supplies for the 2025-2026 school year! Please note: These supplies will be provided to the child on the first day of school, so they will NOT need to be picked up at SchoolFest this year.
Families DO NOT need to purchase any supplies/items except for a reusable water bottle and a clear lunch box, if desired.
