Saturday Studio Workshop: Coiling it Down

This workshop will cover basic techniques of coil basketry. Learn about the history of coiling and the different materials and methods used to create a wide variety of forms. After mastering the basics, continue on to create your own coiled piece with a wide variety of materials such as rope, yarn, fabric, and even plant matter. Final pieces can be bowls, coasters, placemats, hats, jewelry, or just about anything you can think of.
