It’s time for another Mountain State Music on the Folklore Stage!
We’ve teamed up with our friends at Daily 304 to bring you this in-store concert series that’s also live-streamed and recorded to offer live video performances to WV Artists.
For our August edition, we'll be featuring the incredible Aristotle Jones from Osage, WV, described as:
“Straight out of juke joints, Aristotle Jones and his amazing Appalachian Soul Band are inspired by artists like Bill Withers and Johnnie Johnson, and continue the legacy of making high energy soulful folk that blend Rock N Roll, Blues, Doo Wop, Gospel, and Soul into a deliciously satisfying sound that will keep you groovin’ all night!”
We’re also very excited to be featuring a great up-and-coming artist in the Charleston music scene, Gardenn:
"West Virginia-born artist Gardenn blends rap, soulful singing, and pop in a genre-defying sound rooted in resilience and authenticity. With a powerful voice and an inspiring story of overcoming adversity, she transforms personal struggles into uplifting music that celebrates growth, roots, and dreams. As always, this is a free event, but donations are highly encouraged at the door for the musicians.
