CCMI Faculty Artist Concert

Led by College of Charleston School of the Arts' Yuriy Bekker and Amanda Castellone, our Charleston Chamber Music Intensive (CCMI) is a summer experience of robust programming and instruction for young musicians. In its eighth season, this year's CCMI includes 63 participants hailing from Charleston and all over South Carolina. CCMI's 13 faculty artists are committed to mentoring this next generation and will present a concert featuring works by Dvořák, Handel-Halvorsen, Beethoven, and more. Award-winning faculty include Tom Hicks, Herbert Greenberg, Ilya Kaler, Asako Kremer, Jan-Marie Joyce, Michael Klotz, Damian Kremer, and Wendy Warner. The concert will take place in the newly renovated College of Charleston Simons Center for the Arts Recital Hall (54 St. Philip St.).
