Join us for a delicious evening celebrating West Virginia’s favorite snack – the Pepperoni Roll! Vendors and bakers will compete for the coveted Golden Thumb Awards in two categories:
🥇 People’s Choice Pepperoni Roll Golden Thumb Award
🥇 Best Overall Pepperoni Roll Golden Thumb Award
RULES & DETAILS:
✅ Set-up begins at 4:00 PM. Enter at the home plate gate on Lewis Street.
✅ Vendors will be provided a 6-foot or 8-foot table and two chairs (more chairs available on request). You may bring a canopy tent no larger than 10’ x 10’.
✅ Bring enough Pepperoni Rolls for 250-300 fans to sample! Rolls will need to be cut into pieces to serve everyone.
✅ Fans will receive 2 sample tickets at the Main Gate. Additional tickets can be purchased for $1 each or 10 for $5.
✅ By 5:00 PM, vendors must have three full-size Pepperoni Rolls ready for the judges to try for the Best Overall award.
✅ No marinara on or inside the Pepperoni Roll. (This is not a calzone contest!)
✅ Winners announced at 7:30 PM during an inning break at the Charleston Dirty Birds game.
All types of Pepperoni Rolls are welcome – sweet, savory, traditional, or creative – just keep the marinara out!
