We’re excited to welcome you to a weekend full of culture, connection, and community! From joyful gatherings to moments of reflection, this year’s festival honors our past while celebrating the present and everyone is invited. 💛
Schedule of Events:
📅 FRIDAY, AUGUST 15
🎧 Youth Block Party | 6:00PM – 9:00PM
📍 Ranson Civic Center
Kick off the weekend with music, food, and fun all planned for youth, by youth!
Parents & Guardians: We invite you to bring your kids! We encourage all local elementary, middle, and high school students to come out and be part of the fun!
This is a great chance for youth to connect, celebrate, and enjoy a summer night made just for them!
⛪️ Gospel Program | 7:00PM – 9:00PM
📍 Betty Roper Auditorium at Wright Denny Intermediate
As our youth enjoy the Block Party at the Civic Center, join us at nearby Betty Roper Auditorium for an evening of inspiration and fellowship for all.
A program featuring choirs, praise dancers, and spoken word poetry, this uplifting atmosphere brings the community together in praise, unity, and reflection.
📅 SATURDAY, AUGUST 16 – Festival Day!
🎉 Parade Kickoff | 12 Noon!
📍 Downtown Charles Town
Join us downtown and celebrate the local service departments, athletes, county schools, community groups, neighbors and friends as they walk or ride in the annual parade!
🎶 Festival & Summer Jam Concert | 2:00PM
📍 218 South Lawrence Street
✳️ Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy an afternoon of live music from local talent in the community as well as from nationally recognized artists and musicians:

🚶🏾 Memorial Walk to the John Brown Fort Site | 8:00AM
📍 Murphy Farm, Harpers Ferry
A reflective walk honoring the legacy of freedom and the struggle for justice.
🕊️ Dedication of the Charles Town
African-American Cemetery | 3:00 PM
📍 Located between South Seminary St. & East Avis St., Charles Town
Join us as we honor those laid to rest and ensure their stories are never forgotten 🙏🏾
