Marvelous Moths of Cool Spring Preserve

This is a free/donation-based program. All ages are welcome, though youth must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is required and limited to 12 participants.

Discover the marvelous world of moths from local moth expert Kathy Barylski! Moths are among the most diverse and successful organisms on earth, and scientists estimate there are 150,000 to more than 500,000 moth species. There is much to learn about moths, and Kathy is eager to share her knowledge and passion!

The program will begin with a talk about these marvelous creatures! The evening will continue with lightsheeting/mothing to explore the various moth species active at Cool Spring Preserve!
