Fossil Exploration Evening

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED

Join us for a Fossil Exploration Evening at the Case Nature Center!

$15/person (PVAS members receive a 10% discount). For ages 12 and older. All youth must be accompanied by an adult. Pre-registration is required and limited to 15 participants. This program has a minimum of 3 participants.

Did you know that West Virginia was once home to a warm, tropical, shallow sea? We will learn about this and more during our Fossil Exploration Evening at the Case Nature Center! We will get hands-on with real fossils—many from the rocks that make up the Mountain State. Along the way, we will journey through deep geologic time as we imagine what West Virginia looked like long, long ago and explore the ancient creatures that once lived here.
