2025 Water Ritual

All water is sacred. Water is alive and it is believed that all life starts in water. Water is very much alive within us, and can cleanse and heal us from all that ails and troubles our lives.

We will honor the divine spirits of the water as well as our universal mother and ancestral spirits. We will pray, sing, drum and dance. We will present offerings as well as petition them for their divine intervention in our lives.

Please bring the following items:

Coins for your offering

A towel

A change of clothes

A blanket or lawn chair

Water or a non-alcoholic drink item

Please only have silver coins (no pennies) for your water offering, if possible. Please do not bring eggs, flowers, honey, molasses, perfume, etc. Ile Imole will provide all other ritual items needed for the water offering. Monetary donations for the shrine of Ile Imole are welcome.

Refreshments: Food and water will be provided, and we warmly invite guests to contribute by bringing a juice or dessert to share with the community. We kindly ask that you keep or bring labels for your items or write out the ingredients, as this helps everyone enjoy safely. Please note, due to nut allergies, we ask that you avoid bringing items that contain nuts. Thank you for your understanding and generosity!

Attire: Please wear white or bright colors (no black or red).

Please note: This event will be held on private property and no other rituals are permitted to take place.

Location: The exact location of the event will be emailed to registered attendees closer to the date.
