SLOW JOY

Esteban Flores, aka Slow Joy, blends shoegaze, post-rock, and personal reflection on Mi Amigo Slow Joy. After initially gaining traction with singles like “Crawling” and “Soft Slam,” Flores nearly quit music before rediscovering its purpose through grief and therapy. His new EP, produced by Mike Sapone, reflects deeper songwriting, crisper arrangements, and his Mexican-American identity. Tracks like “Pulling Teeth” and “King Cowboy” explore love, loss, and modern life. With growing confidence and creative evolution, Flores uses Slow Joy to tell honest, emotional stories—pushing genre boundaries while championing cultural representation in rock.
