Dancing Folk - Kayaks and Canoes!

No dancing for this event, we’re moving our community gathering to Jordan Lake Farrington Point Hand Carried Boat Launch for the evening. Pat and Bob are bringing four (4) kayaks, and Russ will bring eight (8) boats (kayaks and canoes) with life jackets for adults and youngsters. If you have a boat, feel free to bring your own.

We’ll explore the Bush Creek section of Jordan Lake looking for bald eagles, herons, turtles, snakes and other interesting wildlife.

Bring a hat and sunscreen and insect repellant and water (or other beverage) to drink.

6:00 - Meet at Farrington Point Hand Carried Boat Launch. Unload the boats. Short safety briefing, and instruction.

6:30 - 9:00 Paddle on the lake

9:00 - Closing song, load the boats, and head home.
