Fronted by one of Chattanooga Tennessee's best kept secrets: Husky Burnette, This heavier side of Burnette's blues persona, embraces fuzzy riffs in a crushing rhythmic beatdown. Burnette, long known as a blues player, steps out of his normal comfort zone to create a lavish and thick soundscape that while different, is still the Husky Burnette fans have come to love over the last 15 years. Southern fried and heavy, this band has more fight than a Waffle House at 3am.

MEAN GREEN:
North Carolina seems to produce a lot of great bands in recent years, especially on the heavier spectrum. Mean Green, from Boone, NC keeps this long standing tradition of heavy bands going but brings a youthful virility to the genre. In the short time they've been a band, this Carolina raised threesome has made a name for themselves, setting fire to the blacktop all over the southern states. Next time someone says "There's no good new music coming out", give them a dose of Mean Green's thick, sticky riffs.
