It is finally here! The Green Oval Guild (GOG), or "gawg," is celebrating our 20th anniversary. In the early days, the club started hosting events at the Wilds Animal Refuge in Cumberland, Ohio. For several years, we held an annual off-road event on the Wilds property, starting with a one-day event for GOG members and Land Rover dealership customers. We grew to a multi-day event with camping, off-road trails, and animal tours, with participants coming from multiple states away.
Our good friends at Lucky8 helped us for several years to make this a great event. While we can no longer wheel on the Wilds property, we have decided that it is only fitting to hold our party at The Wilds.
We will kick off the event on Saturday, September 6th, with a light trail ride and camping. Sunday will feature more trail riding and an amazing group lunch provided by LR of Easton. The Germain family has been amazing to us over the years and has once again stepped up to not only sponsor the entire event but also provide us with some great food.
All Land Rover and Mercedes trail-capable vehicles are welcome to attend.
There is no cost to anyone, but we ask for a donation to The Wilds. The suggested donation is $25 per person. Please bring cash or Venmo, and we will make sure it goes to the right place.
You will enjoy guided trail rides, a night of camping, and a group lunch—all for your donation.
