He grew up learning to play the fiddle from his grandfather, first picking up the bow at the age of 2½. By age 11, Ryan Joseph (Ogrodny) was appearing on "Live with Regis and Kathie Lee," singing and playing several instruments, including fiddle, sax, guitar, bass, and piano. Ryan is currently in his thirteenth year of touring with country music legend Alan Jackson, playing fiddle, mandolin, and singing harmony vocals. He has also performed, toured, or recorded with artists such as Billy Ray Cyrus, Jimmy Buffett, Laura Bell Bundy, Jimmy Fortune, Craig Morgan, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Bonnie Raitt, Lee Ann Womack, Martina McBride, Sara Evans, Keith Urban, Zac Brown, Dierks Bentley, Kacey Musgraves, Brad Paisley, Jeannie Seely, Marty Stuart, Chris Stapleton, and Carrie Underwood. Closest to his heart was his time spent with family performing with Henny and the Versa J'J'sHis most cherished career highlights include playing alongside his grandfather (Pappi) Henry, his parents Dee-Dee and Stas, as well as singing and performing with polka icons Eddie Blazonczyk Sr. and Lenny Gomulka, and earning a Grammy nomination with the Versa J'sJ'sr their recording "Co" e On Over"."
