Clark Park Ribbon Cutting & Sandpit Dedication

Champaign Park District invites community members to the eagerly awaited Clark Park reopening.

Clark Park has been closed since April during the construction of a new playground, the expansion of the basketball courts, and the installation of a new ADA path system. The beloved sandpit has also received new features and will be named “Katie’s Playplace” in memory of Katherine Parkhill.

Food trucks will be available at the dedication ceremony and ribbon cutting. The event is open to the public.
