Event: WCAS Field Trip: Bobolinks & Buttercups

Note: This walk will be mostly out in open sun; therefore, we suggest bringing a hat and/or sunscreen and plenty of water.

Description: South Russell Village Park provides beautiful hiking trails through both field and forest habitats. By late spring, the field will be ablaze with yellow buttercups and the Bobolinks will be back from South America and settling in nicely at the park. Join us to get a glimpse of Bobolinks with buttercups! We’ll also keep our eyes open for Eastern Bluebird, Savannah Sparrow, Eastern Meadowlark, and other grassland species.
