🍳 Unleash Your Child’s Inner Chef at the Cooking Camp! 🍳
Get ready for a delicious adventure this summer at our Cooking Camp happening at the new Blackwater Center for Community Enrichment (BCCE) from June 9-13, 2025, from 9am-2pm! This hands-on cooking experience is designed for kids aged 7-12, and it promises to be a fun and educational culinary journey!
During this exciting week, your child will engage in interactive cooking classes where they’ll learn to prepare a variety of delicious dishes while building essential kitchen skills in a safe and supportive environment. From baking tasty treats to whipping up savory meals, each day will bring new culinary creations to the table! 🍰🥗
Camp highlights include cupcake decorating contests, international food days where campers will explore cuisines from around the world, and a pizza party where they’ll roll out their own dough and customize their pizzas with a selection of toppings! 🍕✨ Our little chefs will even get to experiment with flavors at our homemade ice cream making station, blending their unique concoctions for a cool summer treat!
Safety is our top priority, and our trained chefs and camp counselors will ensure that all kitchen guidelines are followed. Campers will learn important skills such as how to measure ingredients, follow recipes, and work as a team—all while mastering basic cooking techniques! 🥄👩🍳
One of the many exciting activities includes a Chef's Challenge, where kids will team up to create a dish using surprise ingredients, showcasing their creativity and teamwork under a time limit. They’ll also take part in a Kitchen Science segment, discovering the fascinating science behind their favorite recipes! 🧪⚗️
At the end of each day, campers will have the chance to taste their culinary masterpieces and celebrate their achievements with family and friends!
