Detroit has an abandoned race track. It's a steeply banked cement bicycle track used by everything from minibikes to stolen cars. It's a strange and beautiful place. It's also a bit of a mess. No one takes care of it at all. Except...

The Detroit Mower Gang is a group of renegade landscapers that care for abandoned parks and playgrounds in the city. On Wednesday May 29, after work The Detroit Mower Gang will show up and get some work done. We will do a mediocre job of cleaning up the place. You are welcome to join us.

We will be mowing and cleaning up the place. You are welcome to join us. You can bring tools, work gloves, or you can just show up.

Want to have dangerous fun? The Velodrome will be there waiting for you. Do you have a minibike, motorcycle, moped, quad, one of those off-road lambo-geenies? You might bring it. There is a good chance you will get hassled by the police. It's a wild place.
