The Commons Lughnasa Celebration

The Commons returns Sunday August 3rd! We come together to build community, share our dreams and visons, build a network of support , and to celebrate our love for the earth.

We are combining this event with our Lughnasa Celebration.
Lughnasadh has ancient Celtic origins and is associated with the god Lugh, a warrior and master of many arts. The focus of this celebration is to honor the first harvest, express gratitude for abundance, and prepare for the darker half of the year.

We will be playing outdoor games, laughing, relaxing, connecting, sharing healthy food, and filling our wells and our hearts with all the beauty and abundance of life in full clebration.

Please bring a water bottle, camp chair, fun games if you have them, an open heart and open mind, and a dish to share for the potluck.

After dinner we will gather to honor the first harvest and then bring out our instruments to continue the merry making. Although music anytime is always welcome!
