Grand Mesa Wildflowers Discovery Walk

Join CSU Extension Tri-River Area Native Plant Master trainers on this discovery walk on the Grand Mesa. We will be exploring the area around the Mesa Top trailhead, seeing what is in bloom, and learning about the native flora of the Grand Mesa.

Please Bring: Water and snacks (There is no drinking water at the site), layers of clothing, sunscreen, hat, rain gear, bug repellent, and good hiking shoes. The area is flat, but we will be walking on uneven terrain. The elevation at the site is approximately 10,800 ft.

Free, registration required.

Accessibility: We will be looking at plants located around the paved parking lot and move into the forested and meadow areas, likely not traveling more than 0.3 miles from the starting point.
