Youth Plein Air Contest

Calling all Kids and Teens! Get out into the sunshine with your paints, pencils, crayons or pastels to create art alongside hundreds of Plein Air artists from all over the country. The Youth Plein Air Contest invites artists age 17 and under to join in the excitement of painting en plein air (French for “painting in the open air”). Awards will be presented in each age category as well as a “People’s Choice” award. Free entry is included with participation in the Color Your World Art Camp. Entry fee is $13 per child. Print and return the completed Youth Plein Air Registration form to the Cedarburg Cultural Center. Artwork will be on exhibit at CCC in the Corridor Gallery Friday, June 27 through Sunday, July 6. Stop in to vote for People’s Choice during Strawberry Fest June 28/29 weekend! The awards ceremony takes place at the CCC on Tuesday, July 1 at 5:30 pm.
