My crew and I went on a pre-walk in the heart of cedar springs park last friday in prep for a fun and educational plant awareness walk we are planning with The Village Learning Center kids.
We had fun and easily found dozens of edible, medicinal, and beneficial plants volunteering their beauty in the park for all visitors to enjoy. We wrote a list of 30 we intend to help the kids identify during our walk.
IF YOUR KIDS WANT TO JOIN A PLANT WALK, we are offering another class on THIS TUESDAY EVENING July 29th 6:30PM. Cost is only 5 each and your kid will have fun learning cool science stuff. If you ask the village kids, they always have fun with us!
PRE-REGISTRATION RECOMMENDED we will limit the class size to keep it interactive for the kids. The kids class is at a kids level and primarily for identification and awareness.

IF ADULTS WANT TO JOIN A PLANT WALK we are offering a more comprehensive class for adults with medicinal and edible information on several dozen common native plants you may have previously called weeds. We hope you will treasure them as beneficial herbs after the class. Class cost includes the walk, Q&A time, a take home booklet, and an online link to more details and pictures.
Cost for adult class is 25 on WEDNESDAY JULY30th at 6:30pm
