About Read to Rise
Read to Rise is a project initiated by Foundation 2 Crisis Services, Stand Up for Peace and Sylvan Learning Center to provide tutoring for students participating in the Stand Up for Peace middle school groups. The purpose is to improve the students' test scores over the course of the ten-week session.

Stand Up for Peace is a community group that supports and assists people impacted by violence, as well as those at risk of engaging in violence. We meet people where they are to help them understand their options and choose peace instead of violence. Learn more at standupforpeacelinn.com.
