Join St. Paul’s as we honor National Coming Out Day, a time to celebrate love, authenticity, and community. This day is about more than visibility; it’s about creating space for:
• Healing for those who have experienced harm in faith or Christian spaces
• Belonging where everyone is seen, valued, and embraced for who they are and for whom they love
• Learning as we listen, grow, and deepen our understanding together
• Affirmation of every person’s sacred worth and unique spiritual journey
The day will include:
• 9:00 a.m. Traditional Worship Service: Centering lived experience and affirmation for our LGBTQ+ siblings
• 10:15 a.m. Coming Out Panel: Sharing stories of coming out that include pain, healing, and joy
• 11:15 a.m. Contemporary Worship Service: Intimate group sharing of music, prayers, and a message around belonging
• 4:30 p.m. Free Community Film Screening: Showing of “1946: The Mistranslation that Shifted a Culture” (doors open at 4:00)
Whether you’re openly part of the LGBTQ+ community, questioning, or not yet ready to come out, you are welcome here along with allies and loved ones. Join us for this meaningful day!
