Molly Brandt: Named 2023 and 2024 Americana Artist of the Year at the Midwest Country Music Awards, and with her powerful vocals, compelling storytelling, and unforgettable performances, Molly Brandt is making waves in the independent music scene. Drawing inspiration from songwriting legends, her songs weave tales of heartache, resilience and triumph, delving into blue-collar struggles, dive bar revelries, long car rides, and cold-blooded revenge. Brandt captivates audiences with her fiery delivery, memorable attire and evocative lyrics as she showcases powerful vocals, compelling storytelling, and unforgettable performances.. Her 2023 debut album, Surrender to the Night, blends honky-tonk, countrypolitan and alt-rock influences. She returned to the studio in early 2024, exploring an even broader range of roots music. The result is her sophomore album, “American Saga”, telling epic character and place-based stories taking place in the American landscape.
The Host Country brings you rock infused with Americana, blues, folk, and a bit of synthy goodness. Original, lyrically-driven music that's inviting and sincere, tinged with the rawness of the emotions that live within love, longing, regret, joy, and everything in between. Dual vocalists & songwriters Ty Wistrand (guitar) & Diana Weishaar (keys) along with Tom Rue (bass), Chris Marshall (drums), and Michael Lovan (guitar) use their music to tell a story that's heartfelt, relatable, and magnetic.
