Ecuador-born and New York City-bred Cecilia Villar Eljuri is an award-winning Latina singer-songwriter and ace guitarist whose original music powerfully fuses elements of rock, reggae, and world rhythms with soaring guitar and impactful, socially relevant lyrical content. Calling herself an “artivist,” she combines her musical artistry with her keen sense of social justice and deep commitment to activism for human rights and the environment.

Reggae Rapids is a captivating live music experience that will get you feeling the vibes! Based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the group’s studio sound brings a unique blend of reggae and hip-hop; while their live performances also lean into stylings of jam-band psychedelia. The fusion of booming bass lines and skanky guitars is held together with conscious lyricism and messages of peace and unity.

This is a General Admission seated show held in the Main Theater of CSPS Hall. Doors will open 1 hour before showtime.
