The Cops 4 Cancer 2025 Summer Event weekend is happening Friday, July 25 & Saturday, July 26, 2025, at the beautiful Cerri Memorial Park in Cedar Point, Illinois. For the first time, the C4C Stage will boast a high voltage national act on Friday night! All weekend long we will have raffles, two days of live music, a beer garden, and a chance to celebrate life while helping others in the community who are battling cancer.
Cops 4 Cancer, Inc. is a volunteer run 501(C)(3) charity that was started by area law enforcement members who were directly touched by cancer. During the past 22 years, we have truly seen the devastation a cancer diagnosis can cause. On September 15, 2024, the reality hit us even harder when we lost one of our founding members to this dreadful disease. Our Nick Smudzinski was one of a kind. He boasted a big personality, a huge smile, a heart that was kind, a laugh that was infectious and a story telling ability that could turn tears into side splitting laughter without you realizing what had happened. He loved his girls, family, friends and the Denver Broncos. He was bigger than life.
Nick was a major player in the C4C Summer Event where he could be found slinging burgers, brats and sipping a cold one while making memories with his famous C4C Grill Team. Quite simply 52 years on earth was not nearly enough with Nick.
We are honored to dedicate our flagship Summer Event weekend to this amazing man and promise to make Nick proud.
