It’s a bird, it’s a plane… no—it’s the Hero Train! Our most action-packed, fan-favorite ride of the summer is back and ready to roll.
Grab your cape, rally your sidekicks, and climb aboard for an unforgettable adventure where imagination takes the wheel. Each train car features exciting activities to keep your little Hero entertained while a league of professional superhero and cosplay characters bring iconic champions to life right before your eyes.
While your fearless Hero fights for justice, grown-up sidekicks can kick back and enjoy the ride in our beautifully restored vintage railcars. These are classic treasures from the golden age of train travel, built in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s.
Your journey crosses the South San Gabriel River and includes a 15-minute stop at our historic 1912 Bertram Depot. It's the perfect spot for snapping heroic group photos with the train.
All ages are welcome in all cars. There are no adults-only sections on this ride.

This 44 mile ride is 3.5 hours round trip with a 15-minute layover. SCHEDULE: Departs 9:00 AM, Returns 12:30 PM. Due to the unique nature of our non-profit railroad operations, there are no refunds.
We wish to provide each passenger with the best possible experience during their excursion. To ensure this, we kindly request that groups of two avoid choosing seats that are facing each other. If you do choose such seats, we may need to reassign your seats to ensure that you are seated next to each other. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in making this train ride enjoyable for everyone.
