Join us for our annual Spring Plant Sale at Hartman Reserve Nature Center on Wednesday, May 21st from 10 AM to 6 PM!
Native flowers, grasses, shrubs, trees and soil amendments will be available for pre-order and purchase through Blooming Prairie Nursery. Blooming Prairie Nursery is a family-owned nursery specializing in growing and installing native Iowa prairie flowers. The specific species of plants that will be available in-person at the sale will vary. If you would like to guarantee specific plants, we strongly encourage you to pre-order ahead of time.
Day of the Sale:
Please park in the upper parking lot located at 657 Reserve Drive, Cedar Falls, Iowa, and access the sale using the sidewalk. Please avoid walking up and down the driveway. If you need accommodations to get to the building below the parking lot, please call 319-277-2187.
Forms of payment accepted: Cash (preferred), Check and Credit Card
Plants will be available in 3", 4", and 1 gallon pots. The "Soil Builder Plus" and "Garden Builder Plus" soil amendments will be for sale in 30# bags. To read more about these, please visit:

We encourage you to bring reusable bags or other containers to carry your purchases to your vehicle in. If you purchase more than you can carry, we will have accommodations made available for you to pick up your order.
