Join us at Noggin Games for our unique Spirit of Play Commander event—a tournament designed to celebrate everything that makes Magic awesome. It's not just about who wins, but who pulls off the most epic play, builds the most creative deck, or simply brings the best vibes to the table. This is your chance to show off your favorite deck in a friendly, low-pressure environment!
Event Details:
Entry Fee: $6
Prizes: We're creating a Prize Pool where every entry adds one booster pack! We'll distribute these to our top players based on the total number of participants, so the more people who join, the bigger the prize pool!
Our Unique "Spirit of Play" System:
We follow all standard Magic: The Gathering Commander rules, but with an exciting twist. While winning your pod earns you 3 points, we're also rewarding players for making the game memorable with our Goal Tokens.
Tokens: Each pod will receive 5 tokens. Then at the end of each round players will award token to each other starting with the first player out.
Innovator (2 points): Awarded for a clever, unique, or surprising play.
Spectacle Creator (2 points): Awarded for a big, splashy, or memorable play.
Gracious Host (1 point): Awarded for being a good sport or a friendly player.
Heroic Ally (1 point): Awarded for helping another player survive or for a key team-up.
Resilient Spirit (0.5 points): Awarded for surviving a difficult situation or making a clever comeback.
How We Crown a Champion:
After all rounds are complete, we'll tally everyone's total "Spirit of Play" points (Wins + Tokens). The player with the highest score will be our champion! Tie-breakers are in place to ensure we have a clear winner.
