What is the "Edge of Eternities" Commander Box League?
This is a special sealed Commander event where your deck building is limited to the cards you open from a newly purchased "Edge of Eternities" Play Booster Box. It offers a fresh, casual way to engage with the new set.
How it Works:
Entry: To participate in the League, your entry fee is $175, which includes an "Edge of Eternities" Play Booster Box. This box will become your exclusive card pool for constructing your Commander Box League deck and grants you full participation in all league activities and the finale tournament.
Early Box Pickup: Get a head start! You can pick up your purchased "Edge of Eternities" Play Booster Box on Friday, July 25, or Saturday, July 26 (during store hours) so you have ample time to build your deck before the league officially begins on Monday.
Deck Building Rules:
You will build a 60-card Commander deck using only the contents of your opened Play Booster Box and any number of basic lands.
Color identity rules are disregarded for deck construction. This means you can include cards of any color in your deck, even if they do not match your chosen commander's color identity. However, remember that commander color identity still applies when specific card effects refer to it (for example, Arcane Signet).
Unlike traditional Commander, you may include multiple copies of any card you open from your Play Booster Box.
Promotional cards (such as Buy-a-Box promos or Commander promos) are not permitted in your deck during league play.
You are welcome to adjust your deck between games, drawing from the full pool of cards you opened in your Play Booster Box.
Casual League Play (July 28 - 31):
Throughout the Prerelease week, from Monday through Thursday, join us at Noggin Games anytime between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM for casual Commander Box League games. Games will be played in pods of 3-4 players, following standard Commander rules (e.g., 40 starting life, tracking commander damage). This part of the league is focused on casual play and exploring the new set. All participants will receive a promo just for joining!
Finale Tournament (August 1):
Bring your refined Commander Box League deck back for a final, competitive event starting at 6:00 PM. There is no additional entry fee for the Finale Tournament for league participants. Players will be paired for structured pods. For the Finale, our prize structure is simple: Win a game, win 3 packs! Players will receive three booster packs for each game they win throughout the tournament. Participating in the league play throughout the week is highly encouraged to optimize your deck for the finale.

Commander Box League Entry (Includes Box & Full Participation): $175
This one-time fee includes one "Edge of Eternities" Play Booster Box for deck construction and grants you full participation in all league activities and the finale tournament.
Prizing:
Participation Promo Card: All participants will receive an exclusive "Edge of Eternities" Commander Play promo card while supplies last.
Daily League Play Promos: For each day you play in the casual league (Monday, July 28 - Thursday, July 31), you will receive a promo pack.
Finale Tournament Prizes: Win a game, win 3 packs! Players will receive three booster packs for each game they win throughout the tournament.
