The class will be outdoors – on dirt
Learn the beginning basics of agility, including:
• recall training – sit/wait
• building a working relationship with your K9 partner with low-set jumping skills, barrels, tunnels, weave poles, and contact skills
• teach your dog to move forward with targets
Agility is a fun class for owners and dogs alike! You will learn things like contacts that will transfer to the A-frame and dog walk, weaving poles, tunnels, jumps, pause tables, and more! Agility training is a great way to bond with your dog while teaching him/her confidence and making them think!
The dog should have basic training or sit, wait, and recall.
CRATES ARE REQUIRED. Please bring a clicker, water for you and your dog, soft training treats and/or a toy that is of high value to your dog, a buckle collar, a 6-foot leash, potty bags, and a chair for yourself.
