Patriot Camp

Patriot Camp was started by local moms to teach our kids the stories of American history and to reinforce principles of freedom and liberty. Children ages 5-12 will come to the Frontier Homestead Museum on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9-12 where they will rotate through stations where and learn the stories portrayed in our own Spirit of ‘76 Parade through music, activities, and oftentimes actors in costume. So fun! Youth ages 12-18 are invited to participate in a Leadership Training on Monday and Tuesday of that week and then THEY will lead the younger kids at Patriot Camp. This camp been going on for 6+ years here in Cedar! There are opportunities for families to volunteer as well. It is so fun and my favorite part of summer! And I LOVE that my kids are actually learning history and how to defend freedom.
