Weaving Wire: A Wire Mesh Sculpture Workshop with Beverly Catampo

Dive into the art of wire mesh sculpting!

Join artist Beverly Catampo this June 1 Sunday, 2 PM at Florentino’s Art House for a hands-on workshop in creating hanging fish sculptures out of mosquito mesh wire. 🐟

Through shaping, folding, and stitching mesh using curved needles and wire strips, participants will be guided to form transparent, airy mesh sculptures.

Expect to gain both technical skills and artistic insight into a rare sculpting technique that blends transparency, lightness, and structure—all within a playful and supportive art space nestled in the mountains of Balamban.
