STONE + SCRATCH: Forage

Step inside the Riester’s Hilltop House – Stone Quarry Art Park’s mid-century, artist-designed home – for the fourth evening of STONE + SCRATCH, a monthly series pairing artist talks with seasonal tastings and evolving interior installations.

This last STONE + SCRATCH of the season features Art in Forage, an exhibition of foraged assemblages curated by former Stone Quarry Visiting Artist Elizabeth Schoonmaker. Art in Forage encompasses anything, natural or synthetic, junk or treasure, and the process emphasizes a connection with the world that is both artistic and playful. Works by artists will be displayed inside and outside the Hilltop House.

Select works will be raffled!

A seasonal spread and wine pairing will be prepared by Cazenovia-based chefs From Scratch, using ingredients sourced from nearby farms. Interior arrangements for the evening are curated by Patricia Christakos as part of her Hilltop House fellowship.
