Our next Ministers Meeting will be Thursday, August 21st 10:30am at Cave Spring Baptist Church. Our guest speaker will be Kyle Walker the Pastor of Cartersville First Baptist Church. He has served there for almost 6 years. God called Kyle back to Georgia after serving in several roles at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He was the Vice President for Student Services and professor of preaching. Kyle is a pastor, husband, father, and outdoorsman who has a
passion for preaching God’s Word. Kyle will be leading us through a quick
PREACHING Workshop. This mini-workshop will help you to develop your
preaching skills and learn how to deliver effective messages. You’ll learn how to use tools to discover the original meaning of Bible passages, how to move from exegetical work to a sermon, to preach about difficult topics, how to use the entire Bible to preach about Christ Jesus and how to develop and deliver clear messages that people can apply to their lives. Whether you’re a pastor, staff member or Bible teacher this mini-workshop will benefit you and your church.
REMEMBER our start time is 10:30am so please don't be late! ALSO REMEMBER that following the Ministers’ Meeting we will announce where we will be going to for our “Dutch treat” lunch. The goal of the Ministers’ Meetings is inspiration and information. We always have a great time of fellowship and encouragement!
