The Abandoned Zoo Photography Workshop 2025

ADMISSION RESERVATIONS START ON SATURDAY 10/4 AT 8AM!

Silver Crescent Photography and Buried By Time Photography present The Abandoned Zoo Photography Workshop 2025. This location was open as a family-owned petting zoo from 1933 until it closed in 2006. The zoo, covering 200 acres, featured over 2,000 animals and more than 150 species. There are dozens of buildings to explore and photograph. Among the many animals at the zoo was a baby giraffe, born onsite in 2002. You will have unlimited access to the zoo and all of the buildings. Workshop focus will be on White Balance and Landscape Photography.

There will be one open session for this event on 10/18/25 from 9:00am-3:00pm, giving you ample time to explore this huge area. The cost for admission to this exclusive event is $65.00 per person. For this event - MODELS ARE FREE!

Payment for admission will be cash at the door. Your reservation on our website will be needed to secure your spot!

Workshop Terms and Conditions: You must sign a waiver to participate in this event. Because of the limited number of participants that will be granted admission, there are NO REFUNDS AND ALL SALES ARE FINAL, (except in case of workshop cancellation.) You may sell your spot to someone else if you're unable to attend so long as you notify Silver Crescent Photography of the substitution. If the workshop is cancelled because of inclement weather or facility availability, then a full refund will be granted. Silver Crescent Photography is not responsible for travel expenses or other incidentals incurred due to event cancellation. By paying your admission you certify that you are physically able to walk up and down stairs and on uneven terrain. There are no accommodations at this event and your payment acknowledges that you agree that you can attend without them.
