Come join us for a day of fun in the sun at The Sequoians Clothes-Free Club for Skinny Dip Day! Shed your inhibitions and clothes as we celebrate body positivity and freedom. Whether you're a seasoned naturist or a first-timer, all are welcome to enjoy a day of swimming, sunbathing, and socializing in a judgement-free environment. Embrace your natural self and connect with like-minded individuals in a beautiful outdoor setting. Don't miss out on this liberating experience!

As our Open House, this event is Free to First Time Visitors & $10 off the gate fee to all other Visitors.

Our Bare Buns BBQ will be open for business. We have a fantastic band --Dirty Cello-- lined up for music on the lawn. We'll see how many Sequoians and Visitors we can pack in the pool, followed by more from Dirty Cello. You're invited on a Guided Hike through some of our many miles of hiking trails. The night continues with our weekly Saturday night potluck, followed with a fun Paint & Sip.

This event also supports the Skinny Dip Day Fundraiser, which benefits the Fistula Foundation. Skinny Dip Day is an annual adventure that inspires people to experience body positivity — while raising money to cure women of horrific body shame.

About 1 million women suffer from untreated birth trauma (obstetric fistula & perineal tears) — causing them to: uncontrollably leak urine and/or feces; smell bad; be outcast; & feel deep shame.

✳️ The good news:

The highly-regarded, bottom-up organization Fistula Foundation has funded over 100,000 procedures, curing women from their injuries and shame. And they are able to restore health to an additional woman 👩, for every $633 they receive.

About Sequoians:

The Sequoians is a private, family-friendly, clothes-free, nudist recreation club in a beautiful oak, bay and madrone foothill forest. We are located in a warm microclimate in the center of the East Bay, 33 miles from San Francisco. Our secluded club in the Castro Valley Canyonlands offers a private and safe environment to enjoy social nude recreation.

The Sequoians is the oldest established nudist facility in the Bay Area, incorporated in 1947. We are a charter member of the American Association for Nude Recreation (AANR) and International Naturist Federation (INF).

What to expect:

New to the idea of a nude club? Sequoians is family-friendly with clear guidelines on acceptable behavior. All members are screened upon their first visit. If this is your first visit and you are planning on participating in an activity, please leave time for registration and screening when you check-in. This is usually done quickly, and you then will be given a tour of our facilities. Our goal is to maintain our solid reputation by continuing to provide a comfortable, relaxed environment for people of all ages to enjoy. We invite you to escape from the rigors of your everyday routine.

During the club’s Open Season (April through October) visitors may visit four times on Saturdays, Sundays, or designated holidays before deciding if they’d like to apply for membership. Membership entitles them continued access onto Sequoians’ grounds for the purpose and enjoyment of nude recreation. Prospective member/visitor gate fee is $28. AANR/Other club member gate fee is $23.

During Open Season (April-October) the Sequoians office hours are weekends/designated holidays: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Come enjoy the day relaxing by the heated pool or in the hot tub. We have a bocce court, a sports court, and a putting green. Inside the Rec Hall we have a pool table and ping pong table. We have multiple refrigerators, a full kitchen, and barbeques available for use.

If you plan on coming to one of our evening events, you must arrive 1 hour before the gate and office close at 5 pm and pay the daily gate fee, and gain entrance. No admittance after 5 pm.

Every Saturday we have a potluck dinner at 6:30 pm. We always welcome visitors! Feel free to bring something to share, but no obligation. Come socialize and get to know some of our members a bit better.
