ALAMEDA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE STRATEGIC PLANNING COMMUNITY TOWN HALL

Join us for the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Strategic Planning Community Town Hall, facilitated by Lowe Consulting Group. This important event is part of a two-town-hall series focused on gathering feedback from residents, advocates, and stakeholders on the progress made since the release of the 2023 Transition Plan.

Your voice will directly help shape the future of public safety in Alameda County.

During the town hall, attendees will:

• Learn about the goals of the 2023 Transition Plan
• Hear updates on key focus areas: Community Engagement, Custody, Accountability, Reentry & Rehabilitation, and Racial Justice
• Participate in an interactive gallery walk with digital feedback boards
• Share experiences, concerns, or observations during an open community forum
• Provide input that will directly inform the Sheriff's Office Strategic Plan and its long-term priorities

Language support, including live interpretation, is available. If interpretation or language assistance is needed during the event, please indicate your preferred language on the registration form. The deadline to request language support is May 21, 2025.

Refreshments will be served.

This is a space for honest dialogue, active listening, and collective progress. We invite all community members to attend and help ensure that safety, equity, and accountability remain at the center of Alameda County’s public safety strategy.

Note: While Sheriff Sanchez will not be in attendance, her office is fully committed to this process and will be using the feedback gathered to guide the agency's future direction.
