Immaculée Ilibagiza

We are honored to welcome Immaculée Ilibagiza, author, speaker, and survivor of the Rwandan genocide. Everyone is welcome to hear her story of incredible hope and forgiveness, September 10th following a Mass at 6:30 PM. We expect her to begin speaking around 7:15, all in the church at Saint Bernard. A reception will follow in the hall downstairs.

More about Immaculée: In 1994, Immaculée survived 91 days hiding in a small bathroom with seven other women while nearly one million people, including most of her family, were killed in the Rwandan genocide. Sustained by her faith and the Rosary, she emerged with nothing and chose to forgive her family's killer.
