Cape Fear Community College will host a Business, Accounting, Information Technology, and Apprenticeships Career Fair on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the North Campus (4500 Blue Clay Road, Castle Hayne). The event will take place in the BB&T Auditorium located in the NA Building. The career fair will connect students, alumni, and job seekers with local employers who are seeking skilled professionals in business, accounting, IT, and related apprenticeship programs.
Prior to the career fair, CFCC will host an employer panel discussion from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. in the BB&T Auditorium. This interactive session will feature a panel of industry experts and hiring managers who will share valuable insights into today’s job market, discuss emerging trends in business and technology, and offer practical tips for job seekers looking to pursue these high-demand fields. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and learn firsthand what employers are looking for in potential candidates.
“This career fair is a great way for students and job seekers to explore opportunities and engage directly with local employers,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “We are proud to host events that support our community’s workforce needs and help connect talented individuals with rewarding career paths.”
Dozens of local employers will be on-site to discuss career opportunities, apprenticeships, and internships. Job seekers are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes, dress professionally, and be prepared to make meaningful connections with potential employers.
