LOVE CASTLE DONINGTON invites you to put on your finery and join us for an ‘afternoon at the races’.
Saturday 4 October at Moira Dale Village Hall
3pm to 7pm
Tickets £15 each.
You will be greeted at the starting gate with a glass of Pimms and asked to trot to your grandstand where you will be served charcuteries, deliciously supplied by Tyler's to You, whilst the eight races are shown, together with the option of a licensed bar.
Bets will be £1 a go, with 75% take of each race given back in winnings to those who bet on the winning horse.
Our lovely Tilly will be judging the best hat in the ‘royal circle’ if you wish to dress up to the nines,
All profits from the day will be given back to communities in Castle Donington through our grant scheme, in early 2026.
We will be giving individuals the chance to buy and name a horse and enter the winning enclosure if their horse wins.
Also If you want to be more flamboyant why not sponsor a whole race, advertising your business to boot.
So why not gallop down and make a day of it, put on your glad rags for a ‘Donington Style Ladies Day’ and support your community, whilst horsing around!
