This class will begin with a guided Holotropic Breathwork practice.
This practice is typically done seated and involves movement, sound, and vibration, which help to unlock your fullest potential and guides you to your strength.
Holotropic breathwork can be beneficial for stress, depression, addiction, post-traumatic stress disorder, avoidance behaviors, migraine headaches, chronic pain, and asthma. Regular holotropic breathwork practice has been linked to reduced symptoms of anxiety, depression, and PTSD, as well as increased resilience and self-awareness.
After the breathwork we will head outside for a transformative experience through Ice bathing. Hannah will continue with breath guidance to help improve the enjoyment of your experience as well as offer support every step of the way.
Breathing helps with ice baths by:
-Controlling your body's response to the cold by slowing down your heart rate and decreasing blood pressure.
-Promoting relaxation by activating the parasympathetic nervous system.
-Increasing oxygen saturation by allowing more oxygen to be absorbed by the lungs and transferred into the bloodstream.
-Allowing you to "hack" the autonomic nervous system for better health and cold tolerance.
Benefits of cold Plunge Include:
-Increasing energy levels
-Triggers hormesis and improves resilience
-Speeds up physical recovery
-Helps you manage stress and improves your discipline
-Boosts your mood
-Improves your cardiovascular health
-May improve your sleep
-Helps burn fat and improves your insulin sensitivity
-Strengthens your immune system
-Offers neurocognitive benefits
To start things off and encourage relaxation we will also enjoy a warming cup of ceremonial Egyptian Blue lotus tea. For over 3000 years the Blue Lotus was used by the priesthood of ancient Egypt for its medicinal properties and as a spiritual sacrament. Blue Lotus generally produces mild consciousness-expanding effects that are said to have a “divine” essence, which brings upon the feelings of tranquility and subtle euphoria.
After practice you will receive a grounding snack to help you on your way.
For this class we ask that you do not consume caffeine for at least 2 hours, eat for at least 1 hour or drink for at least 30 minutes before practice. It is also best to empty bowels and bladder before practice as it is preferable not to have to get up during class.
After class we will provide delicious Chamomile tea and Fruit to both rehydrate and ground you as you move back towards your evening.
What to expect-
-This practice is done in a comfortable seated position.
-It is preferable to wear a sleep mask through the duration of the practice, this will help to enhance the outer body experience. If you do not have a sleep mask a scarf works just fine.

The music will range in energy levels and volume to match the intention of the moment, heighten the energy of the practice, and add to the vibration and concentration.
What to bring-

-A sleep mask or scarf.
-Journal
