Blind Date with a Book Exchange (Spring Picnic edition)

Come make some new bookish friends at our book exchange— “blind date with a book” style! Come with a FAVORITE BOOK (wrapped) to swap, or pick one out at Bookin’ it to participate.
This event is all about sharing books you LOVE and discovering new favorites, so please be prepared to talk about the book you brought and why you love it when the recipient unwraps it.

Light picnic foods will be available in the loft, where you can come hang out with a local author, make some new bookish friends, or just chill and read your new book!

The event starts at 1pm. The swap itself will happen at 1:30pm to allow people to arrive, chat, and grab some refreshments. Unfortunately, you will not be able to participate if you arrive after the swap has started. Event continues until 3pm, so feel free to hang out and chat or read quietly until then.

*Any genre is welcome but since this is a party for adult readers, please no children’s books. Also, please only bring books that can be pleasure-read at length; no cookbooks, rule books, guides, etc.

**This is an open event for any adult readers to join, but you must RSVP in advance, so we can make sure there are enough snacks for everyone.
