Richard R. Becker is an award-winning American author. His novel Third Wheel was released in August 2023 to positive reviews and broke into Amazon's top 20 literary thrillers in November 2023. It has earned six literary awards, including finalist awards in the Global Book Awards and the 2023 Best Book Awards. It also received second place in the Fall 2023 BookFest Awards for coming-of-age fiction.

He serves as president of Copywrite, Ink. and taught at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, for 20 years. In addition, Richard serves as a city council-appointed volunteer commissioner on the Las Vegas Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission and as a high school softball coach. He has assisted more than 60 nonprofit and professional organizations as a consultant and board member during his career. He has been featured as a speaker for various organizations, including Wizard World Comic Con, G2E World Gaming Expo, National Recreation and Park Association, Regis University, and the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Aside from writing, Richard has a broad range of interests, including travel, hiking, parks, fitness, illustration, photography, and spending time with family. He is married and has two children.
