CTKA Trail Series Event #10 Cordell Hull Classic

Sign-ups will be via TourneyX.
Captain's meeting will be on Facebook Live at 09:00 p.m. on the main CTKA Page, August 14th. The identifier will be given out 2 hours before lines in.
You can be on the water at any time. You must have a 360 light on after Sun Set and navigation lights if you are running a motor.
Please use the Check-in feature on TourneyX when you are getting on the water and Check out when you are getting off the water so that we can make sure everyone is off the water safely. Will need to be checked out on the app by the submission deadline to avoid disqualification. MAKE SURE YOU ARE CHECKED OUT BY THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE.
For this event you can fish as little or as much as you want to from lines in to lines out.
Lines in at 6:00 p.m. 08/15/25 (Friday August 15th)
Lines out at 1:00 p.m. 08/17/25 (Sunday August 17th)
Submission deadline at 2:00 p.m. must-have photos submitted before this time or they will not be considered.
If you need to manually submit your fish then they need to be sent to me or one of the judges via text or Facebook Messenger to be manually uploaded before 2:00 p.m.
In Person check in for this event will be mandatory, must be at the check in by 3:00 pm deadline to avoid disqualification.
The check in will take place at the Bellacino's in Gordonsville, TN. We will be there to give out prizes and welcome anyone that wants to come.
$60 entry $10 big bass
KAST rules still apply.
This Includes: Life Jackets on at all times and Flags must be displayed at all times.
5 bass limit
This will be your best 5 fish over the time frame.
12" minimum
- All black bass are eligible (largemouth, smallmouth, spotted, etc)
- Fish must be caught using conventional methods (no live bait)
- All fish must appear healthy and unharmed (no stringers, lip grips, etc)
Submissions
- Fish should be measured using a Ketch Board or YakAttack LeaderBoard ONLY.
- Fish shall be facing left with dorsal fin facing up
- Bottom lip must be touching end of bump board.
- Mouth MUST be closed
- Tournament identifier must be visible in all picture
- Eyes of fish must be visible
-Pictures must be taken from directly above and not at an angle
-Fish must lay in a natural state, no flexing the board or excessive pressure on the fish
Scoring
- Fish will be scored to the nearest ¼”, rounding down
- Fish will be scored to nearest legible line on measuring board
- Fish tail must touch ¼” line to be measured to that line
- A ¼” deduction will be assessed if mouth not fully closed
- If no attempt is made to close the mouth, fish will be disqualified
LIFE JACKETS must be worn at all times.
-Must have contrast sticker or mark on the fence of the measuring board.
-No touching of the tail when measuring fish, you can touch the meat of the tail just not the fin.
-Make sure your submissions are legible and not blurry. Take lots of pictures if you need to.
-Do not have any part of your hand under the gill plate of the fish. This will result in an automatic DQ.
-Refer to KAST rules showing where hand placement is allowed.
-MOTORS ARE ALLOWED, if you choose to motorize your kayak you must follow all state regulations, have your kayak registered, and carry a secondary means of propulsion.
Identifiers will be given out 2 hours before lines in.
Rules will be gone over at the captain's meeting as well.
Door prizes from our sponsors will still be given out at the check-in for those that choose to show up.
