Helen & Douglas House has been caring for local terminally ill children and their families for over forty years. Losing a child is every parent’s worst nightmare. Most parents don’t think it could ever happen to them and they don’t know how they would cope if it did. When it does, they are there to help.
A stay at the hospice means their team takes care of medical and nursing needs so that parents have precious time to enjoy family life with their children sharing laughter and joy and creating happy family memories which will last forever.
Following a short stay in hospital with my son I got to witness their amazing nurses first hand.
Please help us to make this event a huge success and raise as much money as possible!
