In his talk, Golddiggers, Generals, and Tightrope Walkers: Three Georgia Geology Tales, Dr. Witherspoon uses engaging visuals to reveal how Georgia’s landscape has shaped its history.

About Dr. Bill Witherspoon
Dr. Witherspoon has led over 100 geology walks and talks across Georgia. He co-authored Roadside Geology of Georgia with Dr. Pamela J.W. Gore and brings a diverse background that includes university-level teaching, petroleum work, software development, and nearly two decades as a K-12 geology educator.
